Day Campers should arrive dressed to play soccer in t-shirt, shorts and socks. Please bring your soccer ball, shin guards and water bottle, along with soccer/turf shoes for the outdoor field and tennis shoes for indoor. All campers receive a free Carthage Soccer Camp t-shirt.
Resident Campers should bring enough soccer clothing (t-shirt, shorts, socks) for 7 field sessions, soccer ball, shin guards, water bottle, sunscreen, all bed linens (twin XL mattress), towels, toiletries, alarm clock and any necessary medications. Bring soccer/turf shoes for the outdoor field, tennis shoes for indoor and swimming costume for pool activity. All campers receive a free Carthage Soccer Camp t-shirt.
Every camper receives a Carthage Soccer camp t-shirt. Please bring your own soccer ball and water bottle. A soccer ball (size 5 only) may be purchased during online registration and is picked up at check-in.
Day campers do not need to bring additional money.
Resident Campers may buy drinks, snacks and additional items at the camp store. Pizza is available for purchase as an evening snack. Money can be added as credit to a campers account at check-in so that they do not need to carry cash with them during camp. Please use all camp store credit by the end of camp, as credit will not be refunded.
Day Campers must bring a packed lunch. Lunch break takes place in the Student Union Center.
Resident Campers eat all meals in the Carthage Cafeteria, which is a self-serve all you can eat service.
Please complete the health forms during the online registration process to provide us with as much information as possible to care for your child during camp. When you check-in during the first day at camp, you will meet our athletic training staff and can speak to them about specific needs.
Day Campers check-in at the Tarble Athletic Recreation Center (TARC) in the Lower Lobby. The TARC is adjacent to the soccer stadium (Art Keller Field) and you may park in the South Lower Lot. Day campers are picked up at the soccer stadium. Please park and come inside the stadium to collect your child – we will not allow campers to wait outside the stadium for parents.
Resident and Firebird ID Campers check-in at the Tarble Athletic Recreation Center (TARC) in the Lower Lobby between 1:00-2:00pm. The TARC is adjacent to the soccer stadium (Art Keller Field) and you may park in the South Lower Lot. Once checked in, campers will pick up their key and ID card and move into their dorm.
Resident and Firebird ID Camp end at 3:00 pm. A closing ceremony will take place between 3:00-3:30 pm and check-out will begin immediately after. Once campers have packed up belongings, cleaned their rooms and returned their keys and ID cards, they will be free to depart.

Resident campers stay in the College Student dorms on campus. Campers are assigned two per room. Please bring pillow, sheets and blanket (twin XL mattress size.) Mini fridges or toaster ovens are NOT permitted during camp. You may bring a portable fan.
Yes. Please make sure that BOTH campers select each other as a roommate during the online registration process. All dorm rooms are double occupancy. Due to safety requirements we cannot allow more than two campers per room.
Campers are supervised by staff members during the entire camp. Campers are not allowed to leave campus and all camp staff undergo background checks, prior to being hired. Dorms are supervised 24 hours a day.
Yes, teams are welcome. Register for the Resident Camp online and provide a team roster/list of players attending camp to Camp Director Paul Leese at pleese@carthage.edu. Teammates will be grouped together and housed together in the dorms.
Yes. We have specialized goal keeper training at camp. Campers will spend time with our goal keeper coach and rejoin their assigned group during field sessions for game activities. Please register online for Resident Camp as a “Goalkeeper” and not as a “Field Player”.
Yes. All sessions are open to parents and coaches.
Carthage College is located in Kenosha, WI, on the Lake Michigan shore, midway between Chicago and Milwaukee. Two airports are close by: Milwaukee (MKE) is 35 mins away and Chicago O’Hare (ORD) is 55 mins away.
